Job Overview

The Lifestyle Rental Assistant is responsible for assisting and supporting the Lifestyle Rental Consultants and Lifestyle Rental Supervisor with professionally completing follow-ups with prospective tenants for the ultimate purpose of renting suites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Be the first point of contact for incoming leasing phone calls and emails.
  • Assist with showing units to prospective tenants.
  • Assist with checking credit references and other application processing.
  • Ensure customer service satisfaction, conduct customer service calls following tenant move ins.
Qualifications
  • Demonstrate strong customer service skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve effectively.
  • Demonstrate enthusiasm and energy.
  • Multi-task, organize work flow and remain detail oriented.
  • Work independently as well as with a team.
  • Knowledge of the Landlord Tenant Act, Human Rights Code and other applicable legislation would be an asset.
Education & Experience
  • High school diploma or 2 years work related experience.
  • Previous experience renting apartments and assisting tenants would be an asset.
  • Experienced in sales, customer service, or related field would be an asset.
  • Valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record and automobile insurance.
