Job summary

BerQ RNG in Burlington, ON is seeking a Business Development Analyst to support growth through financial modeling, market analysis, and strategic insight. You will bridge Business Development and Finance, evaluating opportunities, supporting deal execution, and delivering data-driven recommendations to leadership.

The role collaborates with cross-functional teams, requires analytical rigor, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Engineering, or related field.
3–5 years of experience in financial analysis or business development.
Strong financial modeling and Excel proficiency.

Responsibilities

Identify and evaluate new RNG and biogas opportunities.
Develop detailed financial models for revenue, capex, and opex.
Support due diligence and performance evaluation of targets.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on feasibility from financial/technical perspectives.
Prepare proposals, term sheets, and deal documentation.
