Job summary

A regional health care provider is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) in Whitecourt to provide Hemodialysis treatment to patients as part of a multidisciplinary team. The RN will deliver comprehensive patient-centered care, utilizing critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Key responsibilities include ensuring patient safety, advocating for patients and families, and leading integrated patient care. Required qualifications include completion of an accredited nursing program and registration with the CRNA. This position is part-time with a competitive salary.

Qualifications

• Active or eligible for registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta.
• Charge nurse experience required.
• Must be able to lift 40 lbs (18kg).

Responsibilities

• Provide Hemodialysis treatment to patients.
• Utilize nursing processes and teach, counsel, and advocate for patients.
• Lead an integrated approach to patient care and health promotion.
