Qualifications

• Two years recent, related clinical nursing experience in the designated clinical area.
• Completion of post graduate course work and/or certification applicable to the designated clinical area.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments of patients.
• Collaborate with patients and their families in care planning.
• Document assessments and nursing interventions accurately.

Skills

Clinical proficiency in the designated clinical area

Ability to initiate and maintain intravenous therapy

Ability to communicate effectively

Ability to promote person-centered care

Ability to plan, organize and prioritize work

Education

Graduation from an approved School of Nursing

Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the BCCNM
