Job summary
ENERCON in Canada is seeking a Technical Support Specialist to join a remote-friendly team across the country. You will provide first-level technical support, monitor wind farms remotely, analyze faults, and coordinate with engineering in Germany to maximize turbine availability.
This full-time role offers a rotating day/evening schedule, weekend rotations, and a comprehensive benefits package. Fluency in English and French, wind industry experience, and knowledge of SCADA/SAP are highly valued.
Qualifications
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Journeyperson status in the relevant trade.
- 5+ years in wind turbine maintenance or electrical/mechanical troubleshooting.
Responsibilities
- Act as primary technical contact for field technicians and site managers.
- Provide first-level technical support, fault analysis, and troubleshooting.
- Escalate complex cases to second-level support or engineering in Germany.
- Analyze recurring issues and support corrective/preventive actions.
- Remote monitoring of wind farms across Canada and perform turbine resets.
- Develop and communicate technical instructions and procedures with teams.
