Accountor CPA in Calgary, Alberta, is seeking a Tax Manager to lead a growing practice. This hands-on leadership role oversees client engagements, reviews complex corporate and personal tax files, and mentors a team of accountants to deliver accurate work on time.

The ideal candidate holds a Canadian CPA, has 5–7 years in public practice with multi-jurisdictional tax experience, and excels at both technical tax work and client advisory.

Qualifications

• CPA designation and Canadian tax expertise.
• 5–7 years progressive public practice experience with Canadian tax focus.
• Experience reviewing T2 corporate tax returns and personal tax returns.
• Experience independently managing client engagements.
• Supervising and coaching accounting staff.
• Strong knowledge of Canadian corporate and personal taxation.
• Exposure to multi-jurisdictional filings and foreign reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead and review T2 corporate returns and related schedules.
• Review T1 personal tax returns for complex situations as required.
• Oversee compilation engagements and financial statements.
• Manage client relationships and provide tax advisory services.
• Develop and coach accounting staff and review their work.
