Insight Pest Solutions is hiring Junior Technicians in Nanaimo, BC. You will inspect homes, identify pests, diagnose issues, and apply treatments while delivering exceptional customer service in a field role.

The position offers full-time hours (9:00am - 5:00pm PT, ~40 hours/week) with overtime opportunities and growth potential within a supportive team environment. You’ll work outdoors and help homeowners solve real problems.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift/carry up to 30 lbs of equipment.
• Comfortable working in crawl spaces, damp or dusty spots.
• Must be 21+ with a valid Class 5 driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Willing to obtain Pesticide Applicator License with company support.

The Role: Your Mission

You’ll be the hero homeowners call when unwanted guests show up uninvited. Think problem solver, detective, and customer‑favorite all rolled into one.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Inspect homes inside and out to identify pests, entry points, and infestations
• Diagnose pest issues and apply effective treatments
• Complete service reports for work performed and products used
• Provide excellent customer service and answer customer questions

• Build strong relationships with customers while representing Insight professionally

Requirements

Important: Prior to servicing customers in the field, successful candidates must complete their licensing exam and required training.
