Job summary

Desjardins in Lévis is seeking a legal and regulatory compliance advisor to design, implement and monitor compliance programs that balance business needs with standards and best practices. You will coordinate with stakeholders across functions and lead improvement initiatives.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree, a minimum of four years of relevant experience, and fluency in French with proficient English.

• Minimum of four years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of French is required; English proficiency is also needed.

Responsibilities

• Design, update, implement and monitor legal and regulatory compliance action plans, programs, solutions and tools.
• Diagnose issues, challenges and needs to determine target outcomes.
• Analyze information, carry out studies, and propose best practices for the organization.
• Help train internal practitioners, raise awareness and communicate ethics and compliance.
• Oversee business line activities.
• Help represent internal and external partners and practitioners.
• Present before committees and organizational units.
