Job summary

Balchem Corporation is seeking applicants for a remote-eligible production operator role. The position focuses on operating and maintaining spray drying and related equipment in a manufacturing setting, following ISO and GMP guidelines.

Key duties include ingredient mixing, packaging, QA checks, and maintaining clean, compliant workspaces. Opportunities to learn inventory control, process documentation, and standard work instructions are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Able to read, write and understand English.
• Physically able to stand for long periods.
• Forklift permit or ability to obtain one.
• Team-oriented with ability to document processes.

Responsibilities

• Learn to mix ingredients into product vessels accurately.
• Maintain and monitor critical control points of the process.
• Operate packaging equipment and complete process documents.
• Perform basic quality checks and testing.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Use lifting equipment and forklift trucks.
• Adhere to GMP, ISO, Kosher, Halal certifications as required.
• Follow CIP/COP chemical cleaning and safety procedures.
• Work with minimal supervision in a team environment.
• Assist with inventory control and production records.
• Learn to standardize facility work instructions.
