Job summary

Varsity Tutors is seeking a SolidWorks tutor to join our live online platform. You’ll deliver personalized instruction to students nationwide, set your own schedule, and earn competitive rates up to $40 per hour.

You’ll invoice for sessions and receive payments twice per week, with no commuting required. The role focuses on advanced SolidWorks topics, from modeling to certification prep, using our Live Learning Platform and AI Copilot to enhance sessions.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of SolidWorks parametric modeling, assemblies, drawings, sheet metal, weldments, simulations.
• Ability to teach parametric feature-based modeling and engineering documentation.
• Familiar with CSWA/CSWP certification paths and certification prep guidance.
• Excellent communication and adaptable teaching methods.
• Friendly, engaging teaching style.
• Ability to adapt to different learning styles.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1-on-1 online tutoring for SolidWorks topics.
• Accept on-demand tutoring requests when available.
• Guide students through sketches, assemblies, and drawings.
• Help students prepare for SolidWorks certification and engineering careers.
