Job summary

Super.com in Canada is seeking Software Engineering Interns with strong web development experience to join our engineering team. You’ll work on real projects that ship and learn by doing in a remote-friendly, startup environment.

During the Winter Term (January 4 – April 30, 2027), you’ll contribute to travel, fintech, and a superapp membership initiative, collaborating with frontend and backend engineers while gaining hands-on experience and mentorship.

Qualifications

• At least 8 months of web development work experience.
• Experience with a modern frontend JS framework (React, Vue, Angular) and web servers.
• Able to learn quickly regardless of languages/tech used.
• Experience taking ownership and shipping features end-to-end.
• Able to decode complex problems with logical, well-reasoned solutions.
• Interested in frontend and backend work (React on frontend, Python on backend).

Responsibilities

• Ship technically challenging projects end-to-end in a fast-paced, iterative environment.
• Propel the business forward and understand impact on metrics and user experience.
• Own features, services, caches, and databases (deployment, monitoring, debugging, testing).
• Write production-ready, well-tested code in your first week.
• Be data-driven and run experiments for almost everything you launch.
• Work on frontend and backend across multiple services and codebases.
