Job summary

A leading recruitment agency is seeking a Mechanical Piping Engineer for a fully remote position in Canada. The candidate should have 8-10 years of experience, a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, and strong expertise in piping design for the oil and gas industry. This role allows for flexible work hours with a competitive salary ranging from CA$170,000 to CA$200,000 based on experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8–10 years of relevant experience in piping engineering within the oil and gas sector.
• Proficient with piping design software.
• Strong understanding of ASME, API, and other applicable industry codes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop piping system designs and layouts for industrial oil and gas facilities.
• Prepare and review piping specifications, data sheets, material requisitions, and stress analysis.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate piping systems effectively.
