Placements24 is seeking a highly experienced Senior Civil Engineer specializing in water resources to join a fully remote team. The role focuses on strategic planning, design, and implementation of water supply, wastewater treatment, and integrated water resource management across regions.

You will work independently and collaborate with a dispersed team of engineers, scientists, and planners using cutting-edge technology.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Water Resources or Environmental Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in water resource engineering and project management.
• Professional Engineer (Pr Eng) registration with ECSA is mandatory.
• Extensive experience with hydrological modeling software, GIS, and water management tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of water infrastructure projects, including dams, pipelines, treatment plants, and distribution networks.
• Develop and implement integrated water resource management plans, considering supply, demand, and environmental factors.
• Conduct feasibility studies, hydrological analyses, and environmental impact assessments for water-related projects.
• Manage project execution, including procurement, contractor oversight, and budget control, remotely.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant water resource legislation, engineering standards, and safety protocols.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers and technical staff in a virtual environment.
• Prepare comprehensive technical reports, proposals, and presentations for diverse stakeholders.
