Job summary

A leading IT services provider in Ottawa is looking for a Sales Development Representative to drive growth in software services. This remote role involves identifying and qualifying leads, conducting outreach, and scheduling meetings for the sales team. Ideal candidates have a degree in a relevant field, experience in sales development, and excellent communication skills. Compensation ranges from $40,000 to $50,000 plus OTE.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a sales development or lead generation role, preferably in the software services or technology industry.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex solutions clearly.
  • Highly motivated self-starter with a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to quickly learn and understand software services and solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct research to identify potential customers in the North American Market.
  • Utilize cold calling, email campaigns, and social media to generate interest.
  • Assess and qualify leads based on defined criteria.
  • Set up meetings for the sales team with qualified leads.
  • Maintain accurate records in our CRM system.
  • Work closely with sales and marketing to develop outreach strategies.
  • Follow up with prospects to nurture relationships.
  • Provide regular reports on lead generation activities.
