Through a family-centred approach, you will provide support in a safe home environment to people who may present complex behaviours, as well as people with diverse abilities. Your natural ability to care for others, working both independently and collaboratively as a member of a multidisciplinary team, will allow you to influence your team’s success.

You will Monitor program delivery, planning, and organisational leadership Act as a community liaison and coordinate special projects as assigned Report to the Regional Manager and Directors Demonstrate ability to manage and supervise multi/interdisciplinary teams using strong interpersonal, communication, organisational and conflict resolution skills Manage multiple projects with a high level of confidentiality, diplomacy and professionalism Use sound judgement and be able to perform well under pressure to meet strict deadlines Conceptualise new programmes and services and experience in planning, organising, directing and implementing community-based activities and programmes in a collaborative manner Provide services in a manner that supports and reflects positive cultural practices Use highly developed communication skills, both oral and written Recruit, provide orientation to, schedule and evaluate personnel Provide direction, guidance and support for team members to manage conflict openly and constructively Schedule and attend staff meetings and attend and participate in other meetings as required Maintain an attitude of caring, respect and optimism for families, representatives and community members Ensure the home is maintained in a neat and clean state at all times What you bring A degree in one of the humanities, social sciences or related field with educational preparation for the role of manager/administrator Minimum 3 – 5 years experience in a health management role required *other combinations of education and experience may be considered* Knowledge of and or experience working within a unionised environment Unrestricted Class 5 Driver's licence.

If driving a commercial company vehicle, a Class 4 licence is required. Knowledge of Aboriginal Operational Practice Standards and Indicators Knowledge of provincial, federal, and Indigenous organisations Standard First Aid with CPR certificate Knowledge of seizure and diabetes management Possess a satisfactory physician’s assessment of fitness to work Education in criminology, psychology, social work, behavioural science, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience* Experience supporting individuals involved with the criminal justice or forensic mental health system* Demonstrated experience liaising and collaborating with Forensic Psychiatric Services, probation officers, clinicians, and justice partners* Knowledge of risk management, safety planning and behaviour support strategies for individuals with complex behavioural needs* Experience supporting individuals with dual diagnosis, mental health challenges or offence-related risk factors* Strong understanding of trauma-informed practice, professional boundaries and maintaining safety within a staffed residential environment* Satisfactory criminal record and clearance A belief in the humanity of all people
