Ideal candidates are pursuing or have completed a PhD/Master's in Physics from a leading US or Canadian university, or have 1+ year of relevant experience in the US or Canada. This is a fully remote, hourly contractor role with weekly Stripe payouts.

This role is for one of the Weekday's clients

We are seeking Physics PhD or Master's students to collaborate on a premier project with one of the world's top AI labs.

In this role, you will apply your subject matter expertise to a cutting-edge initiative focused on advancing large language models. You will contribute by curating and designing high-quality, complex problems within the field of physics—helping shape the future of AI innovation.

You're a great fit if you:

• Are currently pursuing or have completed a PhD/Master's in Physics (or a related discipline) from a leading university in the US or Canada.
• OR have at least 1+ year of full-time professional experience in a Physics-related domain in the US or Canada.
• Possess strong attention to detail and a passion for problem-solving.
• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Are fluent in English with strong proficiency.

Project Details

• Start Date: Begins in September (applications reviewed on a rolling basis).
• Commitment: 15-20 hours per week, with potential to scale up to 40+ hours.
• Duration: Minimum of 1-2 months.
• Location: Fully remote and asynchronous.
• Compensation: $40-$60 per hour.

Pay & Contract Status

• Engagement will be on an hourly contractor basis.
• Weekly payouts via Stripe Connect.

Screening Process

• Includes an AI interview and a short written form (approx. 20-30 minutes total).
• Applicants must be based in the US or Canada.
