Job summary

Scientists in School in Ontario is seeking an Outreach and Community Engagement Specialist to build relationships with GTA school boards, libraries and community partners, and to promote STEM programming across Canada. You will play a key role in raising awareness, managing customer relationships, and coordinating events while working primarily from home.

• Strong relationship-building with diverse stakeholders.
• Experience in stakeholder relations or outreach.
• Ability to work from home and travel to GTA events.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with leadership to develop outreach strategies and growth initiatives.
• Visit schools and attend meetings with key stakeholders.
• Represent Scientists in School at events and promote programs.
• Coordinate placement of donor-sponsored workshops and manage partnerships.
• Promote awareness of on-site and online programs across Ontario.
• Stay informed on STEM education trends and support DEI initiatives.
