Job summary

Varsity Tutors is seeking Microeconomics tutors to join our online platform. Tutors set their own schedule and earn competitive rates, with compensation up to $40/hour. Sessions are conducted remotely using our live platform, with payments issued frequently.

We look for tutors who can explain concepts clearly, adapt to student needs, and connect with learners through engaging instruction. Prior tutoring experience is valuable, and you’ll work with students nationwide from home.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of supply and demand analysis, consumer theory, production and cost functions.
• Ability to explain marginal analysis, elasticity, welfare economics, and game theory.
• Familiarity with introductory and intermediate microeconomics curricula.
• Proven ability to adapt explanations to different learning styles.
