Job summary

Varsity Tutors is seeking Math 1 tutors to teach online on a flexible schedule. You’ll work remotely, earn competitive rates, and impact students’ success from home using our Live Learning Platform.

Earn up to $40/hour with incremental pay per session, get paid up to twice per week, and set your own hours. You’ll be matched with students and supported by an AI Tutor Copilot to enhance sessions.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of linear equations, functions, systems, and basic statistics.
• Ability to break down problems and explain solutions clearly.
• Familiar with Integrated Math 1 curricula and common standards.
• Able to adapt instruction to individual student needs and learning styles.
• Clear, friendly communication tailored to students.

Responsibilities

• 1-on-1 online tutoring with Math 1 students via the live platform.
• Instructors deliver instruction and are available for on-demand sessions.
