Job summary

Software International (SI) invites a Senior Mainframe Performance Consultant to lead technical direction and ensure stable, reliable mainframe environments for complex sharing initiatives. You will collaborate with senior management and vendors to meet service expectations, while guiding a team toward professional growth.

The role requires extensive Mainframe experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and a deep understanding of z/OS, WLM, and performance tooling.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years' experience in Mainframe Performance Analysis.
• Experience using and configuring performance management tools (MICS, IZPCA, Intellimagic Vision, Omegamon, APA).
• Experience interpreting data from SMF/RMF/CMF and building reports.
• Experience implementing Workload Manager (WLM) configuration changes.
• Knowledge of z/OS resource sharing (TCBs, SRBs) across LPARS and subsystems (IMS, DB2, MQ, CICS).
• Understanding of IBM Mainframe CPU concepts including CBUs and OOCoD.
