A global technology leader is seeking an Industrial Systems Designer responsible for designing mechanical and process solutions. This position requires a Bachelor's degree and the ability to travel within North America, Europe, and Asia. Qualifications

• Legal authorization to work in Canada is required.
• Ability to travel for business within North America, Europe and Asia; ~20 - 30 % travel.
• A valid full drivers licence.

Responsibilities

• Understand customer requirements and ensure clarity before detailed design.
• Consult with applications engineering during the requirements process.
• Detailed design of AMR systems using OTTO Motors products.
• Creative solutioning of challenges during project design phase.
• Utilize Excel/Google Sheets to analyze customer data.
• Support discrete event simulation process with data validation.
• Plan deliverables and work packages.
• Document and present proposed OTTO solutions to customers.
• Visit customer sites to assess operations and constraints.
• Collaborate with systems engineering to improve processes.
