Job summary

Celestica is seeking an Industrial Engineering Associate Intern for a 16-month remote internship in Canada. You will assist the Value Engineering team by collecting data, reviewing components, and supporting verification testing while gaining exposure to product design and supply chain processes.

Work under supervision with opportunities to handle more complex duties as proficiency grows. The internship offers development programs, volunteer time off, and potential full-time progression after

Qualifications

• Autonomy with minimal supervision.
• Self-starter, organized, good time-management, and detail-oriented.
• Experience managing and securely sharing collaborative files.

Responsibilities

• Interfacing with leading industrial companies to evaluate state-of-the-art industrial device technologies.
• Acquire deep technical knowledge in cutting-edge industrial advancements.
• Interface with internal and external supplier chains to determine component priority.
• Provide comparison data from similar components.
• Create tables and documents to justify new selected components.
• Review design documentation to understand design intent.
• Support testing of components and/or end units for verification.
• Generate proposals and 4UP charts.
