Job summary

Athabasca Catering Limited Partnership is seeking a Hard Floor Janitor for remote northern Saskatchewan mine sites. The role entails cleaning and maintaining floors across mining facilities and exploration camps, with duties including dusting, vacuuming, and waste collection.

Shift work, two-week in-and-out rotations, and a drug/alcohol test are required. Reporting to the janitorial manager, the position offers travel coverage, meals, and accommodations when on site.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in a fast, thorough, efficient manner with attention to detail.
• Experience operating specialized floor cleaning equipment.
• One year of janitorial experience is a preferred asset.
• Possession of, or ability to obtain a valid first aid certificate.
• Knowledge of WHMIS.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain hard-surfaced floors.
• Sweep, mop, strip, buff and wax floors.
• Operate specialized floor cleaning equipment.
• Dust furniture, vacuum carpeting and area rugs.
• Clean and sanitize assigned areas and offices.
• Collect garbage and manage waste.
• Follow ACLP policies and procedures.
