A regional municipality is seeking a GIS Analyst to support GIS and mapping services across the County. The successful candidate will prepare planning reports, maintain civic address systems, and provide data analysis and technical guidance. Applicants should have a degree in a related field, experience with GIS systems, and excellent organizational skills. Qualifications

• Completion of a University Degree or College Diploma (3 years) in a related discipline including a GIS certificate.
• Over three to four years of experience using GIS mapping systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and create Planning report mapping for various applications.
• Maintain the County civic address system and create new addressing.
• Provide content administration, data dissemination, and user training.
• Design and maintain data and mapping for various County projects.
• Collaborate with team members for data collection and perform site inspections.
• Provide GIS services for other County departments.
