Job summary

Varsity Tutors is seeking GED tutors to join its live online learning platform. As a tutor, you can set your own schedule, work from home, and help adult learners achieve their high school equivalency through guided instruction across all GED sections.

You’ll earn up to $40 per hour, be paid biweekly, and use our AI-powered Tutor Copilot to enhance lesson delivery and save prep time. Remote, flexible, and platform-supported tutoring is what we offer.

Qualifications

• Advanced mastery of all GED sections: Mathematical Reasoning, Reasoning Through Language Arts, Science, and Social Studies.
• Ability to explain test formats, passing score requirements, and standards to adult learners.
• Proven ability to adapt instruction to individual learning needs and styles.

Responsibilities

• 1-on-1 online tutoring sessions with individual students.
• On-demand tutoring sessions when available.
• Deliver personalized instruction and monitor progress using platform tools.
