Lever, Inc. is seeking a GCP Architect to lead the end-to-end modernization of a healthcare data platform on Google Cloud.

This remote contract role is based in Canada and will drive ingestion, processing, analytics, and API integration with a focus on secure, scalable cloud solutions. You will design multi-region data pipelines using Dataflow, BigQuery, and Cloud Healthcare API, with IaC in Terraform, and establish zero-trust security and disaster recovery strategies.

Qualifications

• Active Google Professional Cloud Architect certification is required.
• Extensive hands-on experience designing end-to-end enterprise architectures on GCP.
• Deep proficiency with BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Run, Cloud Composer, GCS, Cloud SQL, Firestore, Memorystore/Redis.
• Infrastructure as Code: Terraform multi-project provisioning and CI/CD pipelines.
• Security: IAM, KMS, perimeter security, hybrid identity and API management (IBM APIC or Apigee).
• Strong communication and workshop facilitation skills for complex architectures.
• Preferred: Cloud Healthcare API (FHIR R4, HL7v2), healthcare data governance/PHI, observability tools.

Responsabilités

• Lead architecture workshops with client and partner stakeholders, mapping current-state to target-state migration roadmaps.
• Design scalable healthcare data ingestion and processing workflows using Dataflow, Cloud Healthcare API/FHIR, Cloud Run, Cloud SQL, Firestore, Memorystore/Redis.
• Define analytics architectures with BigQuery and GCS; orchestrate pipelines via Cloud Composer/Airflow.
• Establish zero-trust security patterns and secure hybrid connectivity (IAM, Secret Manager, Cloud KMS, Private Service Connect).
• Architect enterprise API integrations (IBM APIC or Apigee) including multi-region disaster recovery and high availability.
• Mentor engineering, observability, and security teams through delivery lifecycle.
