Job summary

WinAir is seeking an Intermediate Full-Stack Java Developer to contribute to Java-based components and React interfaces, performing hands-on coding, testing, debugging, and integration work for WinAir web products.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, implement API solutions, and help maintain a reliable, feature-rich software platform. The role emphasizes scalable design, code quality, and ongoing learning in a fast-paced aviation software environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of College Diploma in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent job experience).
• 2-4 years of commercial experience in web application development or software development.
• Experience with partial to full remote operations is an asset.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools for code generation, refactoring, test scaffolding, and debugging.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with technical and non-technical teams, documenting API concepts and implementations.
• Design and develop applications using Java and React to enhance WinAir products.
• Write clean, reusable code adhering to corporate standards and requirements.
• Contribute to product design during team-driven sessions.
• Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Review requirements to ensure alignment with project goals.
• Assist in identifying and resolving design issues.
• Engage in continuous learning to enhance skills.
• Provide technical support to junior developers as needed.
