Qualifications

• 4+ years leading engineers in a software development environment and working across multiple distributed teams.
• Experience leading multiple concurrent projects.
• Experience leading frontend platform initiatives such as design systems and frontend architectural improvements.
• Track record of delivering front-end experiences to user-facing products.
• Strong communication and ability to develop positive relationships across ranks and roles.

Responsibilities

• Drive initiatives to deliver value to users ensuring the software your team delivers is high quality, highly available, monitored, and maintainable.
• Communicate your team’s goals, scope and risks, and own the delivery of initiatives on clear timelines.
• Identify, build and iterate on engineering processes that support a high performing team.
• Engage regularly 1-1 with your team to discuss technical work and development, giving direct feedback on performance.
• Ensure developers are properly supported and empowered throughout the lifecycle.
• Create an inclusive environment that engages and challenges team members.
• Work collaboratively with Product, UX, QA, Operations, and Data Science.
