Varsity Tutors is seeking a French 2 tutor for online, one-on-one sessions. You set your own schedule and teach using our Live Learning Platform from home, helping students master passe compose, imparfait, object pronouns, and everyday conversation.

You’ll earn up to $40/hour, be paid at least twice weekly, and enjoy flexible hours, remote work, and AI-assisted lesson planning to save prep time.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of French passé composé and imparfait, pronouns, and intermediate vocab.
• Able to explain past tense choices and pronoun placement clearly.
• Familiar with French 2 curricula and common challenges.
• Able to adapt instruction to individual learner needs and styles.
• Strong communication and engaging teaching approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1-on-1 online tutoring sessions.
• Accept on-demand tutoring requests when available.
• Match students with teaching approaches best suited to them.
