The FinOps Analyst role focuses on managing and optimizing the Product and Technology department’s finances, with opportunities to influence demand planning and fulfillment in a dynamic omni-channel environment. The ideal candidate has a background in IT or accounting, strong Excel/PowerPoint skills, and knowledge of cloud concepts.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in CS/MIS or Accounting or equivalent with experience, or equivalent education/experience mix.
1+ year experience as IT or Finance professional managing IT.
Knowledge of IT infrastructure and public cloud concepts.
Ability to establish IT cost management strategies, models, processes and tools.
Understanding of cloud billing practices and procedures.
Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
Strong written and verbal English communication for client/supplier interactions.

Responsibilities

Analyze financial and operational performance data to identify trends and support strategic decisions.
Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts for budgeting.
Improve financial and operational processes to drive efficiency and cost savings.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial recording.
Prepare and present financial reports and analysis to senior management.
Conduct financial analysis to support business development and investment decisions.
Assist in developing and implementing financial policies, procedures, and controls.
