Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required, CPA and MBA preferred.
• 5-8 years progressive experience in corporate accounting and/or public accounting.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP accounting and financial reporting requirements.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a U.S. GAAP and Kraken accounting policy subject matter expert.
• Assist with the adoption of new U.S. GAAP accounting standards.
• Prepare and review disclosures in Kraken’s financial statements.

Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting

5-8 years progressive experience in corporate accounting

Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP accounting

Previous experience in business combinations

Understanding of complex business processes

Experience as finance lead for post-merger integration

Education

CPA and MBA preferred
