Job summary

Hopper Inc. is seeking a Finance & Strategy Manager to partner with business leaders, build models behind forecasts and strategic plans, and drive decisions with robust analysis. You will lead reviews, support fundraising and M&A, and turn insights into clear recommendations for senior leadership and the CFO.

The role emphasizes rigorous modeling from investment banking or private equity, overseas collaboration via SQL/AI tools, and ownership of driver-based forecasting tied to P&L outcomes.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in investment banking, corporate development, private equity, strategic finance or FP&A.
• Advanced financial modeling: three-statement models, DCF, scenario and sensitivity analyses.
• Solid understanding of accounting and how the three financial statements connect.
• Excellent communication skills with non-finance partners and senior leaders.
• Working knowledge of SQL or ability to pick up technical tools quickly.
• Hands-on use of AI tools to automate repetitive work.
• Degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Math, Engineering or a quantitative discipline.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain integrated financial models for new products, partnerships and investments.
• Evaluate economics of new commercial agreements and shape deal terms.
• Support fundraising, M&A and capital allocation decisions with analysis.
• Own monthly and quarterly forecasts; contribute to budget and long-range plans.
• Lead reviews of actuals vs. plan; explain variances and flag risks.
