Job summary

DataAnnotation is seeking an Electrical Engineer to evaluate how frontier AI models handle real electrical and electronics engineering tasks. You will bring years of hardware design, debugging, and shipping experience to teach AI to reason about circuits and physical constraints.

You’ll design challenging engineering problems, run them through AI models, and judge outputs against professional standards, critiquing derivations and flagging failures with evidence.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of industry experience in circuit or electronics engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related discipline.
• Ability to defend component- and system-level decisions with reasoning.

Responsibilities

• Design challenging, realistic engineering problems for frontier AI models.
• Run problems through frontier AI models and judge output to professional standards.
• Compare two model versions on identical prompts and evaluate performance.
• Critique model-generated derivations, schematics, and selections, with written rationale.
• Flag concrete failures with evidence: wrong assumptions, sign errors, unphysical results.
