Job summary

Qualcomm Canada ULC is seeking a Machine Learning software engineer with embedded experience to design and implement core ML runtime components for inference on embedded platforms. You will collaborate with compiler, hardware, and model teams to optimize AI workloads and develop C++ runtime kernels for system integration.

The role requires strong C++ programming, embedded systems knowledge, and experience with Linux/Android/QNX environments.

Qualifications

• Degrees with 2+ years (PhD) / 3+ years (Master) / 4+ years (Bachelor) in relevant field.
• Strong in embedded software and HW/SW interaction.
• Experience with ML runtime on embedded platforms is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement core ML runtime components for inference on embedded systems.
• Collaborate with compiler, hardware, and model teams to optimize AI workloads.
• Develop and maintain C++ code for runtime kernels and system integration.
• Create performance profiling and debugging tools for quantized models.
• Analyze runtime behavior using hardware counters and profiling tools.
• Support deployment of models from ML frameworks onto Qualcomm's stack.
• Drive innovations to maintain best-in-class solutions.
