Job summary

Bits In Glass is seeking a hands-on Databricks Solution Architect to design data and AI platforms for enterprise clients. You will shape Lakehouse architectures, build prototypes, and set technical direction for delivery teams.

You’ll work with prospects and customers to map data challenges to the Databricks Lakehouse Platform, partnering with account and delivery teams to ensure the architecture is built. This role suits someone who thrives on solving hard data problems and communicating clear

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on Databricks and/or Snowflake in a technical role.
• 5+ years in customer-facing technical roles such as solutions architecture or sales engineering.
• Experience delivering production data architectures on AWS/Azure/GCP.
• Databricks Professional-level certification.
• Strong expertise in data engineering, data warehousing, or data science/ML.
• Fluency in Python and SQL; Scala/Java/R is a plus.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement across technical and executive audiences.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable Databricks solution architectures — Lakehouse, Delta Lake, and Unity Catalog patterns.
• Lead technical discovery workshops to understand objectives and current-state architecture.
• Build working prototypes, PoCs, and reference architectures for the Databricks Lakehouse Platform.
• Guide on data pipelines, data modeling, and platform governance best practices.
• Advise on integrating Databricks with AWS/Azure/GCP and adjacent data tools.
• Demonstrate capabilities across Data Engineering, Data Science, ML, and GenAI use cases.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks to set up delivery teams for success.
• Translate complex topics into clear business value for stakeholders.
