Job summary

MSP Corp is seeking a seasoned Data Analytics Consultant to join our West team. You will architect end-to-end analytical data solutions from raw data to Power BI front ends, collaborating with business and technology stakeholders to deliver impactful dashboards and insights.

The role emphasizes data modeling, ETL, and BI framework design, with opportunities for growth, certifications, and cross-team collaboration in a remote-first environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on experience in Microsoft Data Stack incl. SQL Server, data warehousing, MS Fabric/Data Bricks.
• 3+ years hands-on experience in Microsoft BI Stack incl. Power BI, SSAS, SSRS, SSIS.
• Proficiency in backend data integration and architecture incl. dimensional data modeling, data warehousing, ETL development (ADF) and performance tuning.
• Strong programming in T-SQL, Spark (PySpark, SQL, Scala), DAX, Power Query.
• Experience developing visual reports including dashboards and KPI scorecards using Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Architect end-to-end analytical data solutions from raw data to Power BI front end.
• Provide oversight in data modeling and database design.
• Work with business teams to understand requirements.
• Define BI framework models and semantic layers for reporting.
• Develop BI end-user training and documentation.
• Produce technical documentation for projects.
• Support proposals and client presentations.
• Estimate effort for data engineering engagements.
• Interact with stakeholders to complete work.
