Job summary

Varsity Tutors is expanding its online tutoring platform and seeking experienced Cursor tutors to teach AI-assisted coding to students nationwide. You will set your own schedule and work remotely, delivering 1-on-1 sessions through our Live Learning Platform.

Earn up to $40/hour, with payments issued up to twice per week. You’ll be matched with students matching your teaching style and expertise, with Tutor Copilot providing real-time support to enhance sessions.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Cursor AI-powered code editor features and AI-assisted coding.
• Ability to explain AI-assisted refactoring and code explanations.
• Ability to adapt instruction to different learning styles and needs.

Responsibilities

• Teach AI-assisted code editing using Cursor to individual students.
• Guide students through project navigation and development workflows.
• Use guided coding sessions and real-time feedback to improve outcomes.
• Maintain engaging and effective communication throughout lessons.
