Job summary

Servus Credit Union is hiring a Communications Coordinator for a remote-first, full-time role. You will support internal, external and member communications, coordinate projects, and assist with publishing and social media efforts from our Alberta team.

With 2–4 years in communications and a degree in a related field, you will help tell the Servus story, while coordinating events and reporting analytics for the Division. Occasional in-office work in Edmonton or Calgary may be required.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in communications, public relations or a related field.
• 2-4 years of communications experience.
• Strong writing skills are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for communications programs and projects across the Department. Develop and implement internal and external communications tactics.
• Write content for a range of channels including print, digital and video.
• Provide administrative and logistical support to team initiatives.
• Support the Head of Communications and Leadership Team as required.
• Provide backup support for publishing across all channels.
• Assist with social media amplification amongst staff and members.
• Support media relations activities and coordination of paid media opportunities.
• Collaborate with Strategic Communications Partners on portfolios and initiatives.
• Provide event logistics support and booking for townhalls and events.
• Monitor and report analytics across the Division.
