Job summary

Credit Counselling Society (CCS) is seeking a Client Care Specialist to be the first point of contact for clients seeking financial guidance. The role operates on a Pacific Time schedule and emphasizes empathy, active listening, and accurate guidance to connect clients with a Credit Counsellor when appropriate.

You will also handle intake outreach and perform essential administrative tasks to support ongoing client relationships.

Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of customer service experience required; call centre experience preferred.
  • Availability to work variable shifts 8:00–18:00 Pacific Time, with one Saturday per month.
  • Professional and empathetic manner with active listening and accurate information delivery.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with teamwork orientation.
  • Positive, solution-focused attitude with adaptability under pressure.
  • Strong organizational abilities and multi-tasking with attention to detail.
  • French fluency is an asset; bilingual credit valued at CAD 800/year.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as first point of contact for clients seeking financial help.
  • Reach out to clients who requested contact and guide them through intake.
  • Perform administrative tasks supporting CCS relationships.
  • Maintain respectful, empathetic client interactions throughout the process.
