Directive Consulting, a leading B2B marketing agency, seeks a Content Strategist to craft SEO-driven strategies and oversee client deliverables. You will lead enterprise engagements, collaborate with AsD, and guide campaigns with data from GA, CRM, SEMRush, and Ahrefs.

You will pair with writers and designers to deliver compelling content and ensure projects stay on schedule using Asana. A remote-first environment supports Canada and global opportunities.

Qualifications

• Proven track record implementing SEO principles and content strategy.
• Analytical ability to analyse website traffic and SEO metrics.
• Strong client-facing communication and relationship management.
• Familiar with Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMRush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog.
• Organizational, project, and time management skills.
• Genuine enthusiasm for digital marketing, SEO and Content.
• Agency experience is required.
• B2B tech and/or SaaS experience preferred.
• Committed to staying ahead of industry trends, including AI and automation.

Responsibilities

• Create custom client strategies and manage day-to-day deliverables.
• Coordinate with Associate Director and cross-functional teams.
• Develop creative briefs and content campaigns using insights.
• Apply best practices like LTV:CAC modeling and SERP share.
• Set client goals using GA, CRM, SEMRush, and Ahrefs data.
• Present goals with AsD for client engagement.
• Plan and ensure strategy execution with project management using Asana.
• Delegate tasks to Specialists and clients; track deadlines.
• Collaborate with content writers and designers for campaigns.
• Maintain ongoing client communication and reporting cadence.
• Prepare bi-weekly, monthly, quarterly reports and business reviews.
• Interface with clients to build relationships beyond deliverables.
