Alignerr is seeking PhD-level Applied Physicists to stress-test Large Language Models by challenging their physical reasoning and enforcing adherence to fundamental laws of physics. This is a fully remote hourly contract designed for researchers who want to apply deep domain knowledge to AI challenges.

As an Applied Physicist, you will design multi-step problems, author rigorous solutions with precise constants, and audit model reasoning for physical consistency.

Qualifications

• PhD-level expertise in physics applied to AI safety testing.
• Ability to design multi-step physics problems and solutions.
• Strong written and spoken English for technical explanations.

Responsibilities
