Job summary
Outlier, an AI training platform owned and operated by Scale AI, seeks detail-oriented English speakers to review AI-generated media from anywhere with a flexible schedule. You will roleplay live conversations with AI voice models, compare AI-generated images and videos to prompts, and explain what looked or sounded off in writing.
Ideal candidates are fluent in English, highly attentive, and capable of clear decision-making even when both options have flaws.
Qualifications
- Fluent English with strong written communication
- High attention to detail and patience to replay/zoom in
- Ability to think on your feet and discuss realistic scenarios in conversation
- Experience writing concise, evidence-based reviews or explanations
- Ability to decide clearly when options have flaws
Responsibilities
- Holding live, scenario-based conversations in English with AI voice models and ranking naturalness and usefulness
- Comparing pairs of AI-generated images/videos and judging which follows the prompt better
- Inspecting outputs closely to spot issues like distortions, flickering, or audio-text mismatches
- Rating each output across dimensions and writing specific explanations in English
