Job summary

Outlier is seeking an OpenClaw Agent Builder to help shape the future of autonomous agents in a freelance, remote role. Compensation is up to $50 USD/hr with weekly payments. Most contributors work 5-10 hrs/week, up to 40 hours.

You will join a team advancing LLM-based orchestration, writing eval rubrics, debugging traces, and stress testing agents. The ideal candidate has 2+ years in backend engineering or AI automation and a track record of shipping production-grade software.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in backend engineering, AI automation, or complex systems integration.
• Proven ability to build and maintain production-grade software with modular separation (e.g., services for data parsing, logic processing, reporting).
• Practical experience building for live environments and handling multi-turn system interactions.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to provide clear, technical feedback on complex system behaviors.
