Varsity Tutors is seeking an Agricultural Science tutor to deliver high-quality online, 1-on-1 instruction from home. You will leverage knowledge in soil science, plant and animal biology, and sustainable farming to help students understand complex concepts and succeed in their coursework.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of soil science, plant and animal biology, ag economics, sustainable farming, pest management, and food science.
• Ability to explain photosynthesis optimization, nutrient cycling, selective breeding, and precision agriculture concepts.
• Experience explaining agricultural science concepts and preparing students for agribusiness, environmental management, and food production coursework.

Responsibilities

• Teach Agricultural Science concepts in 1-on-1 online sessions.
• Adapt instruction to student learning styles and needs; explain material with multiple approaches.
• Help students build understanding for coursework from introductory to advanced agriscience.
