Job summary

Walmart Canada is seeking a Relief Pharmacist to support the Pharmacy Manager and Staff Pharmacist across store locations. The role focuses on patient experience, accurate dispensing, and safe handling of medications.

You will travel to various locations, build relationships with clinicians and district managers, and ensure compliance with OBWs/SOPs while protecting patient privacy. The role offers hourly pay of CAD 41.60–55.90, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Licensed pharmacist with valid license.
• Alberta: CA_APA - Additional Prescribing Authorization (optional).
• Commitment to patient safety and privacy, and to following OBWs/SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure excellent patient experience and accurate dispensing.
• Develop strong working relationships with Professional Services District Managers and stakeholders.
• Accept prescriptions and refills from customers, doctors or hospitals.
• Ensure prescriptions are filled accurately, efficiently, and safely.
• Ensure proper storage of pharmaceutical products.
• Follow OBWs/SOPs and operate pharmacy equipment; protect patient privacy.
• Travel to various locations following the Relief program schedule and coordinate with healthcare providers.
