Loblaw Companies Limited in Canada is seeking a licensed Pharmacist to join our Pharmacy team. You will prepare, dispense and counsel patients, maintain inventory, and support public health days and clinics in our communities.

You will deliver excellent customer service, lead with professionalism, train staff, and ensure accurate Rx processing across multiple sites as needed. A BSc Pharmacy and Class A Pharmacist license are required, with strong communication, interpersonal, and computing

• BSc Pharmacy and Class A Pharmacist license.
• Superior customer relations and professionalism.

• Proven ability to build the business using community-based marketing strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem solving and action planning.
• Strong computing skills and knowledge of Healthwatch and/or KROLL Pharmacy systems.

Responsabilités

• Prepare, dispense and control medications accurately and timely to patients.
• Ensure medication and OTC supplements inventory levels are adequate.
• Counsel patients regarding new and additional medications.
• Create awareness and educate customers through public relations activities.
• Provide timely resolution to patients' needs and Doctors' requests/issues.
• Review and control costs within Loblaw Pharmacy (dispensary).
• Provide on-going training for all Pharmacy colleagues.
• Receive, prepare and deliver Rx and clinical services accurately and timely.
• Regular travel to work in various pharmacies as needed.

What you’ll do

• Prepare, dispense and control medications accurately and timely to patients
• Ensure medication and over the counter supplements inventory levels is adequate to meet patients’ needs
• Counsel of patients in regards to new and additional medications in a friendly, positive and pro-active interaction
• Create awareness and educate customers through public relations (public health days clinics, etc.)
• Provide timely and positive resolution to patient’s needs and Doctor’s requests/issues
• Review and control costs at all levels within Loblaw Pharmacy (dispensary)
• Provide on-going training for all new and existing Pharmacy colleagues (technicians, interns, students, IPG’s)
• Responsible for receiving, preparing and delivery of Rx and clinical services (within their scope of practice) accurately and timely
• Regular travel is required for this role and a reliable means of transportation is required
• Required to work in a variety of different pharmacies and not at one fixed location unless otherwise indicated

What You’ll Need

• Bachelor of Science, Pharmacy and a Class A Pharmacists license a must
• Superior customer relations skills and a strong sense of professionalism
• Excellent leadership and performance management skills required
• Proven ability to build the business using community-based marketing strategies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong problem solving skills including the experience formulating and executing action plans
• Strong personal computing skills, as well as knowledge of Healthwatch and/or KROLL Pharmacy systems a definite asset
