  • Perform reliability predictions, FMEA, and statistical evaluations to optimize performance.
  • Collaborate with engineering, maintenance and partners to drive reliability growth.
  • Act as RAM reference for teams and customers, ensuring requirements and risks are managed.

As a Reliability Engineer in Toronto, ON, you will play a vital role in ensuring the dependability and performance of transportation systems that connect communities and keep cities moving. Your work will directly impact the safety, efficiency, and sustainability of rail mobility across the region.

Your role, Your impact

  • Lead and coordinate RAM (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability) assurance activities for projects and programs, ensuring solutions meet quality, cost, and delivery objectives.

  • Define RAM strategies, manage budgets and planning, and deliver key documentation such as RAM plans and reports.

  • Perform reliability predictions, failure mode analyses, and statistical evaluations to optimize system performance and minimize risks.

  • Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and external partners to collect data, identify root causes, and drive continuous reliability growth.

  • Act as the RAM reference for project teams and customers, ensuring all requirements are met and risks are controlled throughout the project lifecycle.

What you bring

  • Achievement of design‑for‑RAM recommendations and performance targets for projects and systems.

  • Consistent delivery on QCD (Quality, Cost, Delivery) commitments and on‑time milestones.

  • Compliance with RAM processes, KPIs, and continuous improvement through inspections and reviews.

Compensation

The expected compensation for this role is $80,000 - $90,000 CAD per year, plus benefits and eligibility for an annual performance bonus. Final compensation will be based on skills, experience, and internal equity.
