A rehabilitation health authority in Manitoba is seeking a Rehabilitation Assistant to provide therapeutic treatments and support to residents. The Rehabilitation Assistant is responsible for providing assigned therapeutic treatments to residents, repairing and adapting equipment, as well as other duties related to the rehabilitation program and support services. The Rehabilitation Assistant has knowledge of body systems as it relates to the disease process and therapeutic exercise. They demonstrate a strong aptitude for medical terms and abbreviations, anatomy and physiology. Education and Experience
This position is designated bilingual (French/English AMSB & AMSV). All staff are hired for the facility. Employees may hold more than one position in different Actionmarguerite facilities, where the sum total of hours does not exceed 1.0 full-time equivalence.
