Job summary

AbbVie Canada is seeking a Specialist, Material Review to join the Material Review team. The role focuses on medical/regulatory review and approval of promotional and non-promotional materials, with collaboration across internal stakeholders in a Canadian context.

The position requires a Pharmacy or Life Sciences degree and 2–3 years of relevant experience, along with strong knowledge of Canadian health product advertising regulations and proficiency with review systems such as Veeva Vault.

Qualifications

• Must have a Pharmacy or Life Sciences degree and relevant experience in regulatory/medical affairs.
• Experience in reviewing promotional/non-promotional materials and product training is advantageous.
• Excellent knowledge of Canadian regulations regarding health product advertising.

Responsibilities

• Perform medical/regulatory review of promotional and non-promotional materials.
• Provide training and advice to internal stakeholders on review processes and regulations.
• Stay current with industry best practices and regulatory requirements in Canada.
• Support generation and presentation of metrics reports on medical review for designated TAs.
