Job summary

A regulated water utility company in British Columbia is looking for a Regulatory Analyst. This position will involve preparing regulatory applications, creating financial models, and ensuring compliance with legislation. The ideal candidate should have a Business/Economics degree and at least 2 years of financial analysis experience. Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of financial analysis experience required.
  • Regulatory Due Diligence or Business Strategy experience required.
  • 1-2 years’ experience in utility regulation is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare regulatory applications and filings.
  • Create and update forecast and financial models.
  • Conduct regulatory research as required.
  • Ensure regulatory filing and compliance deadlines are met.
  • Attend regulatory hearings and external meetings as required.
